Santiago to Rio: The Andes, Iguassu & Beyond

Arrive in Santiago at any time. Chile's capital is a sprawling city backed by the Andes, and today is about settling in. Drop your bags and stretch your legs with a walk through the surrounding neighborhood before finding a local spot for dinner.

A full, unstructured day in Buenos Aires. This is your chance to pick a few barrios and explore them on foot or by bike. You could wander the colorful streets of La Boca, visit the Recoleta Cemetery, or explore the antique markets of San Telmo. The city is vast, so focusing on one or two neighborhoods is more rewarding than trying to see it all.

Fly from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú, the gateway to the falls on the Argentine side. Before seeing the main event, take a detour into the Misiones rainforest for a guided visit to the Jasy Pora community.
