9-day itinerary
A nine-day route tracing the Dalmatian Coast from Dubrovnik to Trogir. Travel is by high-speed catamaran and private boat, with stops on the islands of Korčula and Hvar for coastal walks and winery visits.
Coordinating ferries, private transfers, and sought-after winery appointments across the Dalmatian islands is a significant logistical challenge. This itinerary handles the point-to-point connections between Dubrovnik, Korčula, Hvar, and the mainland near Trogir, using a mix of scheduled catamarans and private boat charters. It's designed for someone who wants the classic Croatian island-hopping experience without the friction of booking multiple transport legs and activities themselves.

Dubrovnik, from Sea to Summit
The morning is spent on the water, paddling a sea kayak along the base of the Old Town's formidable walls. The route leads to hidden coves and the secluded Betina Cave, with time set aside for swimming and snorkeling in the clear Adriatic before returning to shore for lunch.
Afterwards, a cable car ascends nearby Mount Srđ. From the summit, the view opens up across Dubrovnik's signature terracotta roofs and out to the Elaphiti Islands scattered on the horizon. The evening is free to explore the city's dining scene independently.

In the early afternoon, the journey continues north up the Dalmatian coast via hydrofoil, a two-hour crossing to the island of Korčula, reputed birthplace of Marco Polo.
Upon arrival, a short orientation walk through the town's medieval grid leads to the hotel. After checking in, the day concludes with dinner, offering a first taste of the island's distinct culinary character.

DIY Reality Check: Securing passage from Dubrovnik to Korčula requires navigating a fragmented market of competing ferry operators like TP Line, Jadrolinija, and Krilo. Schedules are highly seasonal, with frequent summer sailings that can drop to just a few per week in the shoulder season, and popular high-speed catamarans often sell out well in advance. Independent travelers must research the operators, find a suitable departure, book tickets to avoid being stranded, and then arrange separate transport to the correct pier in Gruž port, located nearly 3km from the Old Town. A trip with pre-arranged transport handles the operator vetting, ticket procurement, and port transfers in one seamless step.
